SCHEME OF EXAMINATION

 

Continuous Unit-wise Assessment

 

The Course will be assessed on a continuous basis. After the completion of each Unit (out of a total of 5 Units), a CBT (computer based test) will be conducted for that specific Unit. There will be no Semester End Examination in this Course.

 

There will be 50 MCQs of 2 marks each and the duration of the test will be 1½ hours (90 minutes).

 

The marks obtained out of 500 (100 marks per Unit) will be scaled down and awarded out of 90. 10 marks will be awarded for attendance, to make it a total of 100 marks.*

 

It is mandatory for all students to appear in all the 5 Tests. However, in case a student is unable to attend one or more Test(s), only one Makeup / Remedial Test will be conducted at the end of the semester. Questions from all the 5 Units will be included in the remedial Test (20 questions from each Unit). In all, 100 questions would be included in this remedial Test and maximum marks would be 100.

Since only one Makeup / Remedial Test would be scheduled at the end of the semester, student(s) who miss one or more than one Test will take only one Test but their total obtained marks will be considered out of 500 (maximum marks). Following is the tabulated version of the above:
