Report: Visit to Omega Electronics Workshop

In order to give hands on experience to the students, a visit to Omega Electronics, Malviya Industrial Area, Jaipur was organized by the Department of Physics. About 40 students of M.Sc. Physics Sem. III along with the faculty members visited this workshop and got to know about the construction and working of various electronic devices. The company is well known for manufacturing the educational training scientific equipment and lab practical equipment. The students saw how the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is made which are used in various kits used to perform the experiments in the lab. Also they saw the manufacturing of transformer which are used in the kits or in the projects.    

It was an enriching experience for all the students as they gained invaluable knowledge about the entire working from the manufacturing stage to the finished product stage.
