Course Objectives: 

This course will enable the students to develop their knowledge of electronics by learning various topics viz. diode, transistor, Rectifiers, filters,OP-AMP etc. The student acquires abilities to design various types of circuits for various applications.

The students will be able to –

 

CO74: Be able to handle useful equipment related to analog electronics like diode, transistor, and FET.

 

CO75: Apply theoretical principles of Analog electronics to analysis and measurements performed in the laboratory. 

 

CO76: Learn about OP-AMP to perform its various application.

List of Experiments

  1. Study of half-wave rectification using single diode and application of L & p  section filters.
  2. To study a voltage multiplier circuit to generate high voltage DC from AC
  3.  To study characteristics of a given transition PNP/NPN (CE, CB & CC configuration).
  4. To study the characteristics of F E T.

  5. To study the Zener-regulated power supply with different loads.

  6.  Operational-Amplifier: To study the following mathematical operations

(b) Subtractor

(c) Integrator (for ac i/p and dc i/p signal)
