This course introduces students to the methods of experimental physics. Emphasis is given on laboratory techniques such as accuracy of measurements and data analysis. The concepts that are learnt in the lecture sessions are translated to the laboratory sessions thus providing a hands-on learning experience.

This course will enable the students to – CO188: Apply knowledge of mathematics and physics fundamentals and an instrumentation technique to arrive at solution for various problems.
CO189: Learn about the Basics Of Instrumentation, Data Acquisition And Interpretation of results.
CO190: Learn about accuracy and precision, different types of errors and statistical analysis of data.
CO191: Understand the behaviour of electronic components and perform analysis and design of bias circuits for diodes, transistors etc.
CO192: To analyze nanoparticles spectra by FTIR, UV-VIS and XRD Spectra.
