Course Objectives:

This course will enable the students to –

This course introduces students to the methods of experimental physics. Emphasis is given on laboratory techniques such as accuracy of measurements and data analysis. The concepts that are learnt in the lecture sessions are translated to the laboratory sessions thus providing a hands-on learning experience.

CO94: Apply knowledge of mathematics and physics fundamentals and an instrumentation technique to arrive at solution for various problems.

 

CO95: Learn about the Basics Of Instrumentation, Data Acquisition And Interpretation of results.

 

CO96: Learn about accuracy and precision, different types of errors and statistical analysis of data.
