Objective of the Workshop/Seminar/Activity: To provide knowledge of Various Research Opportunities available at different Institutions to the students.
Overall Report of the activity: The guest Lecture was started with a warm welcome of Prof. D. K. Awasthi. It was attended by the Faculty members and Students of Science Faculty. Then the lecture headed towards enlightening students about research as a career, followed by E opportunities available at different Institutions, focus areas available and special schemes for women by Government of India. Further, he talked about nanoparticles, the process of conversion of plastic to oil, pilot scale plants, hydrogen gas, gas sensors etc. and opportunities in these fields. Ion beam facility and other laboratory setups available there for their uses.
Outcome: The students came to know about the various Research Avenues in institutes of National Repute after their Post-Graduation.
