Discipline of Physics, Department of Physics and Computational Science IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur organized Movie Screening of ‘ROCKETRY’ for all students of UG and PG Physics on the occasion of Children’s Day on 14th Nov. 2022 in A.V. Hall, IISU Campus, Jaipur. The Rocketry movie was based on the life of rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the ISRO, who was falsely accused of espionage in 1994. The students found the movie inspiring and gripping and it also touched the hearts. The film pays tribute to the thousands of scientists, including Nambi Narayanan, who have dedicated their entire life to the achievements of India’s space programme.
The students were inspired by the story of the life of Nambi Narayanan and learned about the development of India’s space programme.
