No. of Participants: 63 Students of UG & PG (Physics).

Objective of the activity: Celebration of National Science day 2023  with theme “Global Science for Global Wellbeing” by organizing an exhibition of posters made by students of discipline of Physics on the themes of G-20 under the G-20 University Connect programme. 

Report of the Activity:                                                              

The Discipline of Physics in association with IISU Institutions Innovation Council organized a Poster making competition on 1st March 2023, Wednesday on the occasion of National Science Day on the themes of G-20 under the UGC G-20 University Connect programme from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm in Aaditya Hall. Students participated enthusiastically and displayed their creativity to justify the event’s theme. 63 students of discipline of Physics from all semesters of M.Sc., B.Sc. & B.Sc. (Hons.) participated in this Poster making competition. The Posters made were on any one of the themes of G-20 viz Global Science for Global Wellbeing, Energy Transition: Shaping a Green World, Get a Life: Promoting Eco-friendly Lifestyle and Accelerating Sustainable Development Goals: Making the World a Better Place to Live in. The posters prepared were exhibited in Aaditya hall where each participant presented her poster.

The judges for the event were Prof K.S. Sharma, Prof. Y.K. Vijay and Prof. Ramphal Sharma. They evaluated the posters on the basis of relevance to the theme, originality & Creativity and effectiveness in communicating the intended message. The results were announced by the judges. Kirat Kaur Dhillon (B.Sc(H.) Sem VI) received the first prize, second prize was won by Suvigya Sharma (B.Sc. B.Ed. Sem IV) and  third prize was shared by  Jaya Raisinghani (M.Sc. Sem II) & Jaya Tanwar (B.Sc. B.Ed. Sem II).
