On October 7, 2023, a hands-on workshop was held for students in anticipation of the centenary celebration of Prof. Saraf. This event, dedicated to honoring Prof. Saraf's significant contributions to science and education, featured insightful talks and demonstrations, showcasing innovative experiments developed by educators from diverse states.

The workshop kicked off with a warm welcome, establishing the foundation for an enlightening and educational day. The inaugural session, led by Prof. Satya, unveiled a compact electronic device created by their team. This device emerged as a versatile tool, capable of executing numerous electronics experiments with various components. Notably, the device was complemented by an efficient app that adeptly elucidated complex concepts. Its affordability rendered it accessible to students, and the demonstration was adeptly crafted to augment the comprehension of electronic principles.

The workshop, post-tea break, continued with Prof. Jasvindra's engaging session, emphasizing the pivotal role of mathematics in both physics and daily life. Prof. Jasvindra captivated attendees with entertaining and practical mathematical tricks, elevating the session's thought-provoking and knowledge-enriching nature. The concluding segment focused on center of mass, light ray refraction and reflection, and light scattering, elucidated by a professor from West Bengal, providing a comprehensive understanding of fundamental physics principles. The workshop culminated with enriched knowledge and insight into various scientific and mathematical concepts, thanks to the engaging sessions by Prof. Satya, Prof. Jasvindra, and the West Bengal professor. Participants returned to their colleges with a wealth of knowledge and practical applications, solidifying the workshop's role as an invaluable platform for students to broaden their understanding of STEM concepts, fostering innovation and curiosity among the next generation of scholars.
