Report on Visit of Innovation Hub
As part of the Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate, Science week Celebration from 22-28 February 2022, the Department of Physics organized a Visit to Innovation Hub at IIS, Kshipra Path, Mansarovar on 26.02.2022 at 11:00 am.
Prof. Y. K. Vijay, Director, CIST-IISU, was brief about establishment of the Innovation Hub and demonstrated many no. of equipment. Prof. Vijay was demonstrated and explained the significance of the Foucault Pendulum and Mechanical transmission Line to the students which were installed at the campus of IIS School outside the Innovation Huh.
Prof. Vijay was also demonstrated no. of equipment such as the Vortex Formation, Reduction of Friction, Plasma Application, Rotation Dynamics, An-harmonic Oscillator, Generation of electric charge, Transfer of the Electrical Energy, Generation & travel of the sound waves.
At the Innovation Hub, students had the opportunity to learn much about the scientific equipment through their interaction with the demonstrations.
