Report: Visit to Science Park, Jaipur

Date: 29^th   August, 2017                                                      

To inculcate inquisitiveness, sense of inquiry, scientific attitude and thinking by encouraging curiosity and questioning processes and creativity among students a visit to Science Park, Jaipur was organized by the Department of Physics On 29^th   August 2017. About 38 students of B.Sc. Physics along with the two faculty members visited Science Park. Firstly students visited to Fun Science Gallery, there we saw Models on optics, sound, electromagnetism, static electricity, electronics, mirrors, optical illusion,etc. They enjoyed an animated 3d show about 10-15 minutes and learned about the process of 3d optics. Also they visited Indoor IT Gallery, Portable Planetarium (Taramandal) & High Capacity Telescope. Among these the most interesting part was Portable Planetarium (Taramandal).It was like a true seen of galaxy. The constellations were appearing very fabulous and attractive. The park propagates scientific and technical awareness in students to learn while playing (Khel Khel Mein Vigyan).
