Objective of the activity: Celebration of national Science day 2023 and also commemorate the centenary year of Prof B.L.Saraf

Department of Physics and Institution's Innovation Council of IIS deemed to be University, Jaipur organized the screening of a documentary on Prof. B.L. Saraf, a legendary experimentalist in Physics on the occasion of National Science Day on 27th February 2023.. Physics Community is celebrating Prof. Saraf's Centenary year.
Prof. Y. K. Vijay gave a brief introduction about Prof. B.L. Saraf and recognised his contribution in development of experimental Physics. A documentary on Prof. B.L. Saraf’s was then played in the A.V. Hall.
The students were inspired by the biography of Prof. B.L. Saraf and they also learned how simple things around us can be used to develop experiments that help to learn the basic principles of Physics.
